Since you mentioned the frame above is wet also, the least likely condition is a crack on top of the axle housing where the oil is spitting out. J is correct. The snap ring (#3) goes over the pin (#4) and acts as a retainer to keep the pin from falling out. Remove the ring, then pound out the pin. That will get the driveshaft off.
