If you have decent internet access, streaming is the way to go. Tu I, Vudu, and Peacock offer fre options. Lots of content and a few new shows. I happen to get Hulu, Disney Plus and ESPN plus for free with my phone plan. Adding only the ESPN+ yearly package ($100 - check for bundles if you're a Hulu/Disney+ fan) will give you a ton of extras. If you're looking for live sports frugally, this is probably the way to go. In addition to the college sports and soccer, which used to be the previous big draws, ESPN+ has it's own MLB game of the day.At baseline YouTube has more perks: more channels, unlimited DVR. Youtube base is ~$55 and Fubo base ~$65. I find the main interface of Fubo nicer looking than YouTube TV and similar to DirecTV, which my parents use.
